THE MAINLINE IS THE CITY

THE

REASON

FOR

HAMBURG

As the inaugural chapter of the Voyage Series, the Autumn Winter 2026 charts a passage that begins at the water’s edge and moves far beyond it. Hamburg becomes the first landmark in a wider journey — a city whose character informs the wardrobe as much as its geography.

Hamburg stands at the edge of continents — a city built on departures, arrivals, and the quiet anticipation in between. Once the German gateway to transatlantic voyages, it remains a crossroad of cultures, stories, and ambitions. Cargo cranes rise like modern cathedrals, the Elbe pulls tides from distant shores, and the city breathes in a rhythm shaped by grit and grandeur.

Hamburg is far is more than a location. The city is a return to our roots, to an urban DNA shaped by contrast: the rough edge of mornings right at the Senatsponton, the raw pulse of St. Pauli, the effortless cool of the Sternschanze, and the intercontinental elegance of  Blankenese and the Jungfernstieg. The city has always existed in the space between worlds:

Between land and water, tradition and modernity, elegance and rebellion. It is a city that evolves without ever announcing its changes, but it is continuously visible. The collection is a contemporary reinterpretation of Hamburg´s duality, expressed through hybrid forms of urban tailoring, with silhouettes that expand the classics and consciously rebel against them.

JUST ANOTHER DAY IN THE CITY

JUST ANOTHER DAY IN THE CITY

Bombers and zips alongside overshirts and wide trousers form a language of structure and freedom, grounded in precision and tradition. Launching our Voyage Series here becomes a symbolic homecoming, yet the perfect place for departure.

In Hamburg, a city defined by the sea, its ports, and its layered heritage, the culinary world underlines the spirit of the collection: disciplined yet expressive, rooted yet adventurous. The city’s food culture is shaped by the sea that surrounds it, the ships that arrive daily, and the generations of artisans who turned maritime heritage into flavour.

It is a place where fresh catch meets modern gastronomy, where simplicity becomes luxury through technique, and where every dish tells a story of culture and transformation. A city whose cuisine, like tailoring, is built on craft, discipline, and the quiet confidence to let quality speak.

FOCUS

ON

THE PRODUCT

The design principles of the collection are built on hybridity and duality — where modernity meets naval and nordic heritage. Weather becomes a design parameter rather than an obstacle. Classic forms are not preserved, but reworked: sharpened, softened, layered, and combined. Function and elegance coexist, protection meets precision, and tradition is carried forward through modern construction.

Hamburg is not just a campaign theme, it is also visible in the product. In this chapter, we would like to give you an even deeper insight into our product and connect this with the collection.

Maritime stripes in blue-grey and white echo the rhythm of the harbour, the Alster, and the horizon line between sea and sky. The colour palette moves through navy, stone, foggy neutrals and deep night tones — punctuated by moments of clarity.

These are not decorative gestures, but visual signals: references to uniforms, workwear, and naval dress, translated into a modern wardrobe language that feels lived-in

Hamburg’s weather — shifting, unpredictable, never apologetic — becomes a blueprint. The 3-in-1 jackets respond directly to this reality: modular systems designed to move from autumn into winter and back into spring, worn layered or reduced. Water-repellent nylons and coated wools protect without heaviness; inner jackets attach and detach like architecture. Clothing adapts the way the city does — quietly, efficiently, without drama.

Some pieces speak the city’s history more directly. The Caban coat stands as a clear example — a short, double-breasted silhouette rooted in maritime heritage, reworked with modern weight and attitude. It is Hamburg distilled: naval, confident, uncompromising. Across the collection, these references don’t romanticise the past; they carry it forward.

OUTERWEAR

3 IN 1 JACKETS

The 3-in-1 Jackets become CG’s answer to the unpredictability of Hamburg. Designed as a modular system, they move through seasons the way the Voyage Series moves through destinations: fluid, adaptable, purpose-built. Four silhouettes — a parka, a stand-collar coat, a three-button blazer, and an overshirt — reimagine winter dressing through hybrid construction.

Each outer layer comes in two elevated material worlds: a water-repellent nylon with crisp technical clarity, and a coated wool that merges heritage with protection. Inside, a lightly padded jacket with recycled High Sofillate insulation snaps and zips into place. Worn separately or combined, every configuration resists the elements with quiet confidence.

TOPS

KNITWEAR

The Knitwear channels the maritime soul of Hamburg — with warmth crafted in chunky wool qualities that echo the North’s rugged clarity, the pieces remain substantial without becoming heavy, designed for movement as much as for weather. Wool yarns are engineered with alternating structures, creating texture as narrative: patterns that shift like tides, surfaces that hold depth without excess and colors that match the city.

The cable knit becomes a sculptural interpretation of maritime tradition. Its patterns feel carved rather than knitted, built from wool that carries warmth without bulk. The Troyer translates seafaring heritage into a modern silhouette: a high collar, clean lines, and a structure that moves with the wearer.

OUTERWEAR

COATS

The coat program distills the essence of Hamburg into outerwear: a single quality, expressed in seven colours and three core silhouettes, each built for a different rhythm of the city. The fabric carries a soft hand and a refined nap — wool blended with modern fibres, not for tradition’s sake, but for performance, resilience, and a contemporary attitude. A material designed for movement, for weather, for life between harbour wind, rain and city light.

TSHIRT AND JOGGERS

JERSEY

Jersey becomes the newest and softest expression of our urban tailoring — built from Pima cotton, the longest-staple cotton in the world, defined by its natural lustre, smooth hand-feel, and lasting resilience.

The Pima T-shirt elevates the essential into a statement of material clarity. Striped pieces carry the city within their lines: subtle embroidery as a quiet nod to maritime symbols; stripes referencing Hamburg’s coastal rhythm.

Crafted entirely from Pima cotton, the Sweatsuit embodies urban ease at its most elevated. Soft, luminous, and fluid, it redefines loungewear through the lens of modern tailoring. Designed for the slow Sundays of the Voyage — for cafés, neighbourhood walks, or simply giving the body space to breathe at the airport — it merges relaxation with refinement.

ACCESSOIRES

THE SCARF

The CG scarf translates the season’s narrative Tailored Tasting: Hamburg into a single, iconic accessory. Blended in stripes, it mirrors the maritime pulse of the city — the rhythm of waves, the clarity of harbour light, the subtle coolness of the northern air.

At its centre sits the collection’s signature print: a plate with fish — the visual shorthand of Tailored Tasting. A nod to Hamburg’s culinary heritage, transformed into graphics. The scarf becomes a bridge between fashion and flavour, craft and culture — condensed into one accessory that completes the look and carries the Voyage forward.
